Randy Doerksen

Randy Doerksen is our Coordinator of Music Ministries. Having joined our ministry team in July of 2014, Randy leads worship in our traditional services and directs the Trinity Sanctuary Choir, the Tower Bells choir and the Higher Ground Worship Team.

In July of 2017, Randy retired as Principal of Plum Creek Elementary School in Buhler.  However, with a love for music, children and teaching, Randy returned to the public school system in 2018 as Music Teacher at Lincoln Elementary.

BIG NEWS! We’re proud to announce that Randy was named as one of the recipients of the Davis Foundation Teacher of the Year awards at the Hutchinson Public Schools annual opening convocation this year! Congratulations, Randy, and thank you for your effective leadership and witness, both inside the walls of Trinity and in our community!

Randy graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1984 and earned a Master of Science degree at the University of Kansas in 1993, as well as a District Leadership Endorsement from Wichita State University in 2012.

Randy and his wife, Pam, enjoy travelling and spending time with family.
