Here's what to expect!

Traditional service Sundays at 8:45 am and 11:00 am    What to expect: These services preserve the some of the best of United Methodist worship traditions.  You can expect to hear our organ, experience a choir processional, sing the great hymns of our faith, pray heartfelt prayers, and hear strong sermons-- and you can expect God to speak to you deeply through it all.  Special music is a regular occurance at Trinity, ranging from vocal or insturmental solos to one of our many handbell choirs.  A children's sermon is offered for little ones, so they remember God love's them, too!  Of course we also have a nursery available.  The service will last less than an hour.   What to wear: You will see all kinds of dress at these services, ranging from "Sunday Best" to jeans.  Come as you are comfortable or make a statement by dressing up-- you're welcome either way!   Where to go: The sanctuary is on the west end of the building, right at the intersection of 17th and Main.  The more traditional doors pictured here will lead you right in.

 

 

Higher Ground (contemporary praise service) Sundays at 10:45am   What to expect: The Higher Ground service offers contemporary worship with drums, guitar, visual media, and our praise team.  This upbeat service will get your blood pumping, and the sincerity will help your faith to deepen.  You can expect to sing and clap praise to God, to hear sermons that help you to grow, and to pray in such a way that it draws the entire community together to lift up to God.  There are tables on the sides for comfortable sitting-- new parents also find these handy, but of course our nursery is also available.  The service will last about an hour.    What to wear: Just like in the traditional services, you will see all types of dress in Higher Ground.  Some dress quite casually, others will be wearing suits-- you will fit in no matter what you wear.   Where to go: Higher Ground takes place in our Warner Wing, which is located on the east side of the building, near 17th and Walnut.  The more contemporary doors pictured here will take you right to it.
